A Prayer When I Can't Forgive
Romans 12:19 · ESV
[19] Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” (ESV)

PRAY
Father, I want to forgive but I can't. The pain is too fresh. But Your Word says, 'Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.' I release this person to You. I trust You with justice. Help me forgive what I can't forgive on my own. In Jesus' name, Amen.
