A Prayer When Your Mind Won't Slow Down

Philippians 4:6–7 · ESV

[6] do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. [7] And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (ESV)

PRAY

Dear God, my mind won't slow down. The worries keep circling, and I feel like I have to carry it all. But You tell me not to be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer to let my requests be made known to You. So I bring it all now — every fear, every what-if, every burden I've been holding. Thank You that Your peace, which surpasses understanding, guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Quiet my thoughts with Your presence. Help me trust You with what I can't control. In Jesus' name, amen.
